After a prolonged divorce battle, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have finally reached a resolution. According to The Daily Mail, Brad Pitt has withdrawn his request for joint custody of their children. Sources close to the couple revealed that after years of court battles, they are now in negotiations to bring an end to the legal drama that has lasted since 2016.

Brad originally wanted shared custody of their kids, but now it looks like he’s had a change of heart. According to recent reports, he’s no longer pushing for joint custody, which means Angelina will keep primary custody while he’ll get visitation.

One major consideration in this decision is that a few of the kids are now grown-ups. Maddox is 22, Pax is 20, and Zahara is 19. However, Shiloh (17), Knox, and Vivienne (15) are still considered minors. The older children are rumored to have a strained relationship with Brad, and being of legal age, they are not subject to any custody agreements anymore.
Zahara made a bold move by removing her father’s surname in a public declaration, while on Father’s Day this year, Pax criticized Brad by accusing him of instilling fear in his four youngest kids.

According to a friend of Brad, Angelina’s plan is to drag out the divorce proceedings until their children reach adulthood at 18 years old. “Brad only has himself to blame for this situation,” shared Angelina’s friends, who emphasized her focus on healing and moving forward as a family.
